Narragansett - Albert E. Ball, 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. He was the former husband of Nancy (Jacobson) Ball of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Edward A. Ball and May R. Roy.
Al worked as a Maintenance man at the Blueberry Inn in Narragansett.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, camping, hunting, an occasional beer, paranormal movies, and his Harley Davison Motorcycle. He was a lover of people and always gave a helping hand to those in need.
He is survived by his seven children, Anthony Ball, Cassie Ball, and Rebecca Ball all of Woonsocket, Chase Ball of FL., Harley Ball, Wayde Ball and Sean Ball all of Bellingham, MA. Three brothers David Ball and his wife Jacqueline of North Smithfield, Jeremy Jones of Saugus, MA and Eric Ball of FL. He also leaves a step sister Joyce Jones Bergeron of Woonsocket. And four grandchildren. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Ball and his niece April Jones Meneses.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 1- 2:30 PM. Burial will be private.
