Alice H. Maculan-Picard

Woonsocket - Alice H. (Gaulin) Maculan-Picard, 94, passed away peacefully in the Holiday Retirement Home on Saturday, May 27, 2023. She was the wife of the late Carlo Maculan and the late Robert L. Picard. 

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Albert N. and Marie Ange (Marcotte) Gaulin.

Alice worked as a Seamstress for the Brisbane Company retiring in 1961. 

She was a former member of AARP. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Alice was also an avid bowler. 

She is survived by two sisters, Eveline Riquier and Lucille Groleau both of Woonsocket. Two brothers, George Gaulin of TX and Louis Gaulin of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her caregivers, Elaine Levitre and Dorothy Zanella. And several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Janice Maculan who passed away in 1991. She was also the sister of the late Doris Zanella, Anita Hebert, Florence Laliberte, Roland, Armand, Eugene, Leo, Alfred, Henry, and Raymond Gaulin. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service from 9-10 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Judes Children’s Hospital in Alices memory would be appreciated.
