Aline Laramee Obituary

Woonsocket - Aline L. (Rancourt) Laramee, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Roland R. Laramee.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Marius and Cecile (Cloutier) Rancourt.

Aline worked for the school lunch program for the Woonsocket School System for eight years and for the Woonsocket Visiting Nurse in the Hospice Program for 11 years prior to retiring. 

She was a member of St. Joseph Church for over 40 years and served as a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. She enjoyed BINGO, going out to eat with family and friends, and going shopping with her sisters on Saturdays.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Laramee and his wife Cindy of NC and Mark Laramee of Woonsocket. Five siblings, Rachel Corriveau of Woonsocket, Yvette Gladu of Bellingham, Helene Bernier of Woonsocket, Denise Gervais of Burrillville, and Guy Rancourt of Woonsocket. Two grandchildren, Katherine and Matthew. 

She was also the sister of the late Paul and Raymond Rancourt.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation is one hour prior to the Mass in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery Cumberland, RI.
