Angel R. Massanet-Colon

Woonsocket - Angel R. Massanet-Colon, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He leaves behind his lifelong companion, Wildays Valentin-Colon of Woonsocket. 

Born in Albonito, PR., son of Angel R. Massanet of Framingham, MA., and the late Auria Luz Colon. 

Angel was a self employed mechanic for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, repairing cars, and attending car shows. 

Besides Wildays and his father he is survived by his seven children, Angel Massanet-Zayas of Woonsocket, Yamilet Massanet-Zayas of Fitchburg, MA., Tasha Liz Massanet-Torres of Fitchburg, MA., Angel Massanet-Rodriguez of NY., Kiara Rodriguez of NY., Jhangel Alberto Massanet of Woonsocket, and Isaac Yahil Massanet of Woonsocket. Four siblings, Yalitsa Avila and her husband Anibal of FL, Angel Omar Massanet and his wife Mercy of MA, Yailin Massanet of MA, and Daly Angely Massanet of PR. Seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 6:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Calling hours are from 4-6:30 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield, RI.
