Pawtucket - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Anthony Smith who was taken from us too soon on May 16, 2024 at the tender age of 37.
Anthony brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless curiosity. Though his time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts.
He had a passion for martial arts, collecting swords, he loved spending time with his family, going on vacation, roller skating, cooking his sticky rice and Asian food.
He will be missed by his mother Nicole Meireles, sister Jalina Meireles, brothers, Sunte Souvannasap and Nilton Meireles. In addition to his immediate family he also leaves behind many family members that will dearly miss him, his aunt Edna Sweeney and his uncle Steven Smith.
To commemorate his incredible journey and to celebrate the love he spread and the love we shared. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at 1:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; callings hours are form 12-1:30 PM prior to the service.
