April L. Descy

Woonsocket - April L. Descy 51, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Edmund Descy Sr.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Helen Brodeur Cullerton and Ronald Cullerton Sr. and his wife Sharon of Bellingham, MA.

April worked as a waitress for the Bocce Club prior to becoming disabled. She was a member of Post 85 and AMVET post 87. She enjoyed listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and keeping in touch with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed Facebook, playing casino games online, going to the casino, and she loved to party.

Besides her father Ronald, she is survived by her six children, Anthony Cullerton of Woonsocket, Armand Martin of New Mexico, Deanna Descy of Woonsocket, Alexander Cullerton of SC, Paige Doire of FL, and Travis Cullerton of Woonsocket. One sister, Brenda Cullerton of Woonsocket. Two brothers, Ronald Cullerton Jr. and Joseph Cullerton both of Woonsocket. Ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Marguerite Cullerton of Woonsocket.

She was also the sister of the late James Cullerton.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 3PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is on hour prior to the service from 2-3 PM.
