Barbara A. Gill

Blackstone - Barbara A. (Lataille) Gill, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2023 in the Milford Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roger Gill.

Born in Medway, MA daughter of the late Leo and Dora (Lague) Lataille.

Barbara was Owner and Operator of Barbara’s Cake and Pastry Supplies and also the Bakery manager for Hannaford supermarket. She enjoyed taking occasional trips to Twin Rivers, she loved to bake and decorate cakes. She also enjoyed working to the best of her ability.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and her caregivers, her nephew and Godchild, Paul Parenteau of Millville, MA and her niece, Pauline Chevalier of Woonsocket, RI.

She was also the sister of the late Norman Lataille, Arthur Clem, and Richard Lataille. And Shirley Parenteau, Jeanette Gendron, and Jean Benoit.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited: Calling hours are from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery Wrentham Rd. Cumberland, RI.
