Blackstone — Carol A. (Lawrence) Deluca Silva 76 passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of George P. Silva of Blackstone, MA.
Born in Providence, daughter of the late Edward L. and Loretta (Botehlo) Lawrence.
Carol worked for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections as a Dispatcher for Transportation for 12 years.
She enjoyed traveling especially to Maine, cooking, and an occasional trip to the casino’s. She was a devoted mom and grandmother and love spending quality time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband George she is survived by her four children, Michael DeLuca and his wife Christine of Cumberland, Lisa Lorange and her partner David Lemay of Woonsocket, Karen Tetreault and her husband Bruce of Maine, Scott DeLuca and his wife Lori of Bellingham. Four step children, Michael Silva and his wife Christine of MA., David Silva and his wife Lee of Maryland, Mary Beth Silvia and her husband Michael of RI. Jennifer Ames and her husband Anthony of RI. Twenty grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves her feline companion Teddy whom she loved dearly.
Carol was also the sister to the late Edward and Linda.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 7 PM in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 5-7 PM. Burial will be private.
