Carol Ann Lacourse

N. Smithfield - Carol Ann (Cabana) Lacourse, 79, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024 at the Friendly Nursing Facility in Woonsocket, RI. Born on December 5, 1944, in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Leo and Priscilla (Marzini) Cabana. Carol married her devoted husband, Roland, on August 24, 1962, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Carol is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roland; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Odete Lacourse of Rehoboth, MA; her daughter, Danielle of Norwich, CT; and her beloved grandsons, Tristan and Wesley.

She is also survived by her sister, Gladys Pachomski; her brother, Leo Cabana; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in her heart. Carol loved her dogs - Benji, Casey, Jessica, James, and Shilo.  She was an avid decorator, and loved shopping for the perfect decor for their home.

Carol will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM prior to the mass. Burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
