Cecile Garand

Wrentham, MA - Cecile (Desrosiers) Garand, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Phillippi Garand and the late Joseph Kell.

Born in Cumberland, RI., she was the daughter of the late Delphis and Simone (Leduc) Desrosiers.

Cecile was a Mold Machine Operator for Polytop Corporation prior to retiring. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, shopping, spending time with family, her friends, and grandchildren. Her love was her home and her family.

She is survived by her four children, Barbara Dussault of Wrentham, MA., John Kell and his wife Pamela of N. Smithfield, RI., Linda Larrivee and her husband Ronald of Sumner, ME., and Scott Kell and his wife Nancy of Woonsocket. One sister, Jeannette Bergeron of CA. Ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

She was also the mother of the late Thomas Kell and sister to late Albert Desrosiers, George Desrosiers, Roger Desrosiers, Yvette Masse, Muriel Gauthier, Simone Rosewell and Theresa Desrosiers.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on  Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 3 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation is from 1-3 PM prior to the service. Burial is private.
