Woonsocket — Charles A. Lesieur Jr. 91, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Iris (Caselli) Lesieur who passed away on Sunday May 30, 2021.

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Charles A. and Rosilda (St. Germain) Lesieur.

Charlie was a graduate of Mt. St. Charles Academy, Class of 1948.

He worked as an Auditor for Providence Washington and worked for H&R Block , and manager of catering for URI. prior for several years to retiring. He was Owner and Operator of Rosie’s Dairy with his wife Iris.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Charlie was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks, Knights of Columbus and the Milliville Men’s Club. He was a very active member of St. Anthony’s Church Woonsocket.

He had a passion for cooking and loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed hockey, especially the Montreal Canadians.

He is survived by his two daughters Sharon Bruscini of Woonsocket and Penny Marie Croyle and her husband Shelley of Delaware. Three siblings, Clara Caya of Ashland MA, Pierrette Corriveau of Bellingham, and Arthur Lesieur of Fl. Seven grandchildren, Andrew, Scott, Lynn, Samantha, Sean, Nason, and Anna Kay, and 17 great grandchildren., and his son in law Norman Aubin, of Arizona.

He was also the father of the late Kathy Ann Aubin, brother of the late Muriel Leverne and Pauline Lesieur, and his late son-in- law Andrew Bruscini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM in St. Anthony's Church Greene St., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery,  Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday June 3, 2021 from 4-6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI.
