Woonsocket —- Daniel D. “Danny” Lanagan, 48, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Landmark Medical Center after a short illness with his loving family and soul mate Lisa by his side.
Born in Woonsocket, son of Debra M. (Houde) Ducharme of Woonsocket and the late David H. Lanagan and stepson to Wayne Ducharme of North Smithfield.
Danny was a Master Plumber and was Owner Operator of Lanagan Plumbing and RI Plumbsurance.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 113, American Legion Post 85, and Walnut Hill Bowl.
Daniel was a United States Army Veteran.
He enjoyed bowling, spending time with his children, family, and friends, playing pool, playing cards, especially Poker. He was a collector of Presidential Coins and he was also a big History enthusiast. He was a very patriotic and very spiritual individual.
Besides his mother and fiancé Lisa Robidoux, he is survived by his four daughters, Briana Goss of Worcester, Emily, Ava, and Kayden Lanagan all of Pascoag. Three sisters, Deanna Lanagan of N. Providence, Jennifer Leclair and her husband Matthew of N. Smithfield, and Hope Lavallee of Plainville, MA. One brother, Christopher Powell of Woonsocket. One grandson, Oliver. And several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 11-1:30 PM. Burial will be private.
