Debra R. Montecalvo

Florida - Debra R. (Messier) Montecalvo 65, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Morton Plant Hospital, FL with her family by her side. She was the wife of Marc A. Montecalvo of Seminole, FL.

.Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Eugene and Claire (Boucher) Messier.

Debra worked as a waitress at the Breakfast Nook in Lincoln, RI prior to retiring and moving to Florida. She was a member of the Elks B.P.O.E. 2519 in Florida. She enjoyed boating, going out to dinner, shopping, the beach, and entertaining friends and family. She loved to be around people and made several good friends both in RI and Florida.

Besides her husband Marc, she is survived by her son, John Russo and his wife Shadi of N. Smithfield. Three sisters, Lorraine Ondack of Pawtucket, Denise Desrosiers of Woonsocket, and Diane Brown of Burrillville. Two grandchildren, Nadia and Niko Russo. And several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 930 AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Anthony’s Church, Greene St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-7 PM on Friday, September 3, 2021.
