Deirdre M. Lafond

Woonsocket - Deirdre M. (Saucier) Lafond, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. She was he former wife of Ernest R. Lafond Jr. of Pascoag, RI. 

Born in Norwood, MA., daughter of the late Arthur H. and Marlene (McDevitt) Saucier. 

Deidre was a Homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, keeping her home tidy and clean, going for road trips on the back of Ernies motorcycle, she was an avid Red Sox fan, and loved being a mom and taking care of her boys. 

She is survived by her two sons, Kyle M. LaFond and his wife Angie of Indio, CA and Dylan G. Lafond and his wife Candice of Pascoag, RI. Her siblings, Arthur Saucier and Carl Saucier both of Florida and Tracy Marcoux of Woonsocket, RI. And four grandchildren, Brandon, Deirdre, Jordon, and Grace. 

She was also the sister of the late Karlene Cabral and Jeffrey Saucier. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10 AM in St. Agathas Church 34 Joffre Avenue, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. The S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
