Doris E. Arcand

Lincoln - Doris E. Arcand, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center with her family by her side.  

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Donat and Laura (Provencher) Arcand.  

Doris was a Registered Nurse at the former Woonsocket Hospital and Landmark Medical Center. 

She enjoyed taking care of her dogs, traveling, and working with immigrants and informations to help them pass their citizenship tests. 

She is survived by her close friend, Rosemarie Kavanaugh of Lincoln. One brother, Paul Arcand of Maryland. One nephew, Paul Arcand II of Maryland and one niece, Melissa Eidlin of Maryland. And one great nephew, Jeffrey and one great niece, Emma. 

She was also the sister of the late Donat Arcand Jr.

A Home Going Service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10-11AM prior to the service.
