Woonsocket - Earl "Doc" Robert Love passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 16, 2026 at the age of 66. Just 82 days after the passing of his beloved wife Michele Lynn (Hughes) Love.
He was born November 2, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late William James Love and Dorothy Gladis (Guilliams) Insalaco.
He moved to Marana Arizona as a teenager where he met and married his soulmate in 1980. He helped start and run the Marana volunteer fire dept. in the 1980s along side his wife, step father and others, where he saved a few lives. He loved motorcycles, fishing, working on cars, shooting and playing guitar (he could play Santanas Europa better then Santana himself) he was a man of many talents, he loved martial arts, spending time with his family, he always had a good story to tell, he had a great sense of humor and an amazing laugh, he loved to cook and grill outside. He was a master screen printer, owning his own business Love Serigraphics in Arizona in the 90s.
He always greeted his kids and grandkids with a "Moo" and you could always go to him for everything, he could fix anything earning him the nickname "Doc" which is the name most people knew him by.
He is survived by his three children, Sheena Love of Woonsocket, Joshua and his wife Kenline Love of Woonsocket, and Caitlin Love of North Providence. Also his brother Robert "Billy" Hawes of Alaska, his little brother Carmelo Insalaco of Arizona, and a sister Elizabeth Borell of Massachusetts. He was also survived by his many grandchildren, Miena (Ismael), Harley (Victoria), Brianna, Alex, Nakota, Veronica, Elijah, Jeffery, Eliud, Nayeli, Valerie, Gabriel, Joshua and Shirly. Three great grandchildren, Analise, Ariya, and Azriel. He also leaves behind his canine companion and best friend, his service dog, Oso.
Earl is now reunited with his wife. He was predeceased by both his parents, his older brother Charles "Chuck" Love, younger brother Richard Insalaco Jr., brother in law James Bonjour and dear friend Robert Rowe.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the families home at a later date
