Woonsocket — Efigenio Navedo 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 1, 2022 in Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side.

He was the husband of the late Sara (Amaro) Navedo.

Born in Puerto Rico son of the late Mario Navedo Melendez and Maria Martinez Moran.

Mr. Navedo worked in the Maintenance Department of Sygma Boston, for several years prior to retiring. 

He enjoyed bike riding, walks, mechanics, preaching, ranchera music and spending time with family and friends .

He is survived by his eight children, Efigenio Navedo Jr. of Texas, Rosa Navedo of Springfield, MA., Marilyn Navedo of  Cumberland, Samuel Navedo of Springfield, Ma Ruth Navedo of Boston, MA, Raquel Navedo of Sutton, MA, Johnathan Navedo of Georgia, and Alexander Navedo of Woonsocket. Twelve siblings, Mariaestelle, Bazilia, Antonia, Claribel, Dominga, Alberto, Benjamin, Jose, Daniel, Carmen Maria, Magdalena, Nelson, David Navedo. Fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Mario and Emilio Navedo. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday January 7, 2022  at 6:30 PM in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket RI , Calling hours are from 4-6:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 11 AM in Union Cemetery North Smithfield, RI.
