Eleanor Barry Obituary

Woonsocket - Eleanor “Ellie” (Allen) Barry 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Herve Barry.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Peck) Allen.

Ellie worked as a Nurses Aide and MedTech for St. Antoine Residence for several years. She enjoyed traveling, music, Facebook, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. She was a very strong believer in God .

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Barry and her partner Dina Cullerton of Woonsocket. Her eight siblings, Jennifer Donahue, Kathleen Lucchetti, Christine Kilguss, Joyce Marcoux, Judi Lalumiere, Armand Lucchetti, William Lucchetti, and Ernie Leblanc. Three grandson, Joseph Barry Jr., Ethan Barry and Michael Barry. And two great-grandchildren, Ava and Brady.  She also leaves behind her caregiver Steve Cafferky of Woonsocket.

She was also the mother of the late Joseph Barry and stepmother to the late Herve Barry Jr. and sister of the late Alice Martin and James Lucchetti.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10 AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian burial at 11AM in St. Charles Church N. Main St., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited: Calling hours are from 4-7PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
