Elieser "Elliot" Vazquez

Woonsocket — Elieser “Elliot” Vazquez Sr. 51, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was the rock, friend, and a solid companion of 19 years to Sylvia Hernandez of Woonsocket.

Born in Bronx New York, son of Maria (Inez) Vazquez of Worcester, MA.

He worked as an Electrician for several years in Worcester, while also doing extensive home repairs, windows, siding, Roofing and Construction for several years prior to becoming disabled.

A TRUE family man, Elliot loved to cook, eat out with his best friend Axel Cruz, and watch TV. While a Deacon at church, he loved to go camping, mentor, and enjoyed his time bonding and laughing with friends and family. He had a passion for boxing, the MMA, and FreeStyle music. He loved his family, friends, and catered to his loved ones especially his loving mother and grand daughter. He was also a hard core New York Yankees Fan.

Besides “Wifey” Sylvia and his mother Maria Inez, he is survived by his children; Elieser Vazquez Jr. and his fiancé Whitney of Boston, MA. Ethan Vazquez, Kevin Garcia, Sylvia Vega, Jacqueline Garcia, and Charlie Garcia, and one granddaughter, Abriella Jade Vega, all of Woonsocket. One sister, Linda Vazquez of New York. One Aunt, Carmen Dilia Vazquez of Caguas, PR and uncle, Juan Vazquez and two nephews, Leonardo Emilio Calderon and Juan Manuel Vazquez of Worcester, MA; As well as several cousins and extended family members in Springfield, MA., and Caguas, Puerto Rico.

Elliot was the brother of the late Julia Calderon, the late Edwin Manuel Vazquez, Juan Francisco Vazquez, and 4 late nephews.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 028095. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield. Calling Hours will be on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5-7PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
