Ernest Joseph Belanger

Woonsocket - Ernest Joseph Belanger, 66, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 after a long illness in Landmark Medical Center with his family by his side.

Born in Woonsocket, Ernest was the son of the late Eugenie Rousseau and Roland Rousseau.

Ernie was disabled. He was an avid collector of Marvel merchandise, E.T., Buddha, and many other merchandise. His favorite holiday was Halloween. He kept his decorations up year round just enjoying looking at them. He loved his family so much. 

He is survived by his his three sisters,  Joyce Gauvin and her husband Warren Gauvin of N. Providence, Paulette Ryan of Blackstone, MA., and Judith Verrill and her husband Harry of Maine. Five nieces and nephews and three great nieces and a nephews. 
 
His services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
