Eugenie M. Rousseau

Woonsocket - Eugenie (Hogue) Rousseau, 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Roland Rousseau.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Lionel and Yvonne (Audet) Hogue.
Eugenie worked as a Nurses Aide for Ladd Center for several years, the IMH for 20 years, and as a bus driver Valley Transportation in Woonsocket.
She was a clan mother for 13 Moons, she enjoyed oil painting, scrap booking, she was an avid reader, she loved working on genealogy with her daughter, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Joyce Gauvin and her husband Warren of N. Providence, Paulette Ryan of Blackstone, Ernest Belanger of Woonsocket, and Judith Verrill and her husband Harry of ME. One sister, Jeannine Kappelle of Blackstone, one brother, Paul Hogue of GA. A brother Richard Hogue of N. Carolina. Five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
