Evelyn E. Rossato

Woonsocket — Evelyn E. (Fargnoli) Rossato, 93, formerly of Coolidge Ave, died peacefully, Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in the Village at Waterman Lake. She was the beloved wife of the late Plinio “Leo” Rossato. 

Born in Providence, RI., daughter of the late Ernesto and Maria (Apiece) Fargnoli.

She worked in Accounts Receivable for General Electric for several years prior to retiring. 

Evelyn enjoyed cooking, traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her two nieces, Marie Richman and her husband Gary of Exeter and Jayne Fargnoli and her husband Chakib Elantri of Sharon, MA. Four nephews, Albert Baccari and his wife Ginny of Cranston, Joseph Fargnoli of Narragansett, John “Jack” Fargnoli and his wife Allison of Alaska, and James “Jimmy” Fargnoli of Arizona.  

Evelyn was the mother of the late Paul Vittorio Rossato former owner of A A Vittorio Cycle. She was also the sister of the late Madeline Famiano, Gilda Renzi, Joseph Fargnoli, and Anna Baccari. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 12PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery Cumberland, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is 1 hour prior to the Service from 11AM to 12PM.
