Fernando Santiago

Woonsocket - Fernando Santiago Jr., 45, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026 in Landmark Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Shana (MacKenzie) Santiago of Woonsocket. 

Born in Guayama, PR., son of the late Fernando Santiago Sr. and Edna Torres Gonzalez. 

Fernando enjoyed family gatherings and loved being with his children. He enjoyed cars, music, enjoyed a good meal, and he loved taking things apart and putting them back together, succeeding every time. 

Besides his wife Shana, he is survived by his nine children, Cheyenne Santiago, Alihja Pare, Tyana McClure, Tysha MacKenzie, Karissa Santiago, Juliet Santiago, Joseya Santiago, Fernando “Buddha” Santiago, Jajuan Santiago, and Beyonce Roberson. One sister, Edna Ruiz and three brothers. Six grandchildren, Angelina, KenzLynn, Angel, Milani, Rhydian, and Anayla. He was also survived by many cousins, includingLuis Cordero Torrres and Juan “JayCee” Renta.

He was also the brother of the late Victor Fernando Santiago. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at later date. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Road Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
