George Colon Obituary

Milford, MA - George L. Colon, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026 in Milford Gardens Health and Rehabilitation with his loving family by his side.

Born in Isabela, PR., he was the son of the late Lorenzo Colon and Pascuala Echevarria. 

George was a blue collar worker for Dennison for 25 years and for Seville Dye for 15 years prior to retiring. He enjoyed family and friends, bowling, scratch tickets and playing Keno, taking weekly trips to Twin River Casino, westerns, wrestling, and was an avid sports fan. 

He is survived by his three daughters, Rose Hopkins and her husband Kevin of Woonsocket, Leslie Ann Croteau and her husband Michael of Blackstone, MA., and Lizette Hickerson and her husband Kenneth of Pawtucket. Five grandchildren, Richard, Justin, Kenneth, Lorri Anne, and Samuel. Four great grandchildren, Jayden, Judah, Maevelynn, and Adeline. And a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

His funeral services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
