Gerald A. Chasse

Woonsocket - Gerald A. Chasse, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in the Woonsocket Health Centre with his daughter by his side. 
He was the former husband of Jeannine (Trinque) Bergeron of North Smithfield. 

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Gerard F. and Emillie (Boissil) Chasse. 

He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and during Vietnam Era. 

Gerry was a Bartender at the Cercle Laurier and the Elks Club BPOE 850 of Woonsocket of which he was also a member. He enjoyed golfing, occasional trips to Foxwoods and Twin River Casinos, and playing cards, especially Solitaire. He also loved the Red Sox and attended many games in the 80’s.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Chasse and her wife Megan of Woonsocket. Step daughter, Diane Hoppe and her husband Fred of Forestdale, RI. One sister, Beatrice Hoothay of CT. 

He was also the brother of the late Irene Beauguard. 

His services are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI is in charge of the arrangements.
