Gerald R. LaPlante

Manville - Gerald R. LaPlante, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the Hope Health & Palliative Care in Providence with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Nancy E. (Willis) LaPlante. 

Born in Woonsocket bu tlived most of his lif in Manville, son of the late Armand and Irene (Bergeron) LaPlante. 

Gerald was a Painter for Consolidated Coating for several years. He enjoyed canoeing, camping, fishing, working in his garden, and several other outdoor activities. 

He is survived by his two children, Jesse LaPlante and Angela LaPlante, both of Woonsocket. Two brothers, Robert LaPlante of Providence and Ronald LaPlante of PA. Five grandchildren, Thea, Sam, Hannah, Rilie, and Amara. 
And several nieces and nephews.
