Geraldine Berard

Woonsocket - Geraldine (Rossi) Berard 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Emile W. Berard Jr.

Born in Woonsocket, RI daughter of the late Gerry and Martha (Orlando) Rossi.

Geraldine was a Dietitian/Nutritionist for Evergreen and St. Antoine Residence for 12 years prior to retiring. She was a lifelong resident of Milliville who loved her church and her community. Family was her priority. She held on to meet her great granddaughter, Rylee. She also loved her late dog, Nicki.

She was survived by her 4 children, Jerome S. Berard and his Dawn of Troy, ME., Diane A. Morra and her companion Dan Kesler of Greenville, RI., James M. Berard of Milliville, MA., and John J. Berard and his wife Anne of Milford, MA. Several other adopted children. 6 grandchildren, Rebecca, Abigail, Hunter, Jared, Trapper, Alex, and Maddison. And 1 great granddaughter, Rylee. Her niece, Denna Himsey, her special Angel. And a special thank you to her CNA, Holly.

She was also there sister of the late Michael J. Rossi and Jean LeBlanc. And grandmother to the late Dominic Berard.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 9AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 with Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Divine Mercy Church St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5-7PM.
