Germaine Andral

Woonsocket - Germaine (Florestal) Andral, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in the Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Health Care Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Odino Andral. 

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, daughter of the late Méréjuste and Louisane (Pierre Louis) Florestal. 

Germaine was a self employed Housekeeper and Nanny for several years. She was the perfect housewife, she loved her family, and showed lots of loved for others. 

She is survived by her six children, Arlande Andral of NY, Mirlande Andral-Figaro of NY, Emmanuel Andral of FL, Emmelyne Andral-Desrosiers of Haiti, Jean Élie Andral of Canada, and Sherly Frederique of Woonsocket. One brother, Jacob Forestal of FL. One sister, Therese Florestal of NY. Five grandchildren, Clifford Toutbon, Stan Booz-Andral, Marie Junie Andral, Nerlande Andral, and Emmely Frederique. Two great-grandchildren, five nephews, cousins, relatives from Cadet, Valentin, and Jean-Louis families, and many friends close to her heart: Gerry, Dale, Morgan, Matt Tannenbaum, and Elyse Berkowitz of NY. 

She was also the grandmother to the late Ivandral Frederique. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 8:30-10:00 AM. Burial to follow in Highland Park Memorial Cemetery, 1 Rhode Island Avenue Johnston, RI 02929.
