Herculano Ferreira

North Smithfield - Herculano Ferreira 75, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Clarinda (Pedro) Ferreira.

Born in Portugal, son of Horacio and Clarinda (Fernandes) Ferreira.

He was a Machinist for Xthera Company in Franklin, MA for 40 years. He served in the Army in Portugal. He was a former member of the Portuguese Continental Union. He loved working on cars, caring for his doves, and making homemade wine for his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his beloved wife Clarinda, he is survived by his 2 sons, Miguel Ferreira of Pomfret, CT and Denis Ferreira and his wife Jennifer of Cumberland. 1 brother, Manuel Ferreira of Portugal. 5 grandchildren, Max, Maizy, Logan, Madden, and Brayden.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at  11AM in Holy Trinity Church Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to help defer the cost of the monument at the cemetery would be appreciated. Donations can be made to Clarinda Ferreira in c/o the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895 who are in charge of the arrangements.
