Hugh A. McGhee

Hugh A. McGhee 58, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020. He was the husband of Donna H. McGhee of Pennsylvania.

Born in Philadelphia, PA son of Alfreda G. McGhee of Cranston and the  late Reverand Hugh A. McGhee Jr.

Hugh worked for Sherwin Williams as sales clerk for several years. He was graduate of Woonsocket High School class of 1980. He was also a graduate of Temple University, School of Architecture. He also obtained a Certificate in Project Management in Philadelphia. He enjoyed tracing the family tree, gardening, sports, especially track and baseball, and spending time with family and friends.

Besides his mother Alfreda, he is survived by one sister, Cheryl McGhee of Cranston. His God daughter, Juanita Gray of Woonsocket. And a host of cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 4 PM in St. James Baptist Church 340 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited.  The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
