Woonsocket - Ivandral Frederique, 18, died unexpectedly in a swimming accident on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
He was born in Haiti, the son of Nikerson and Sherly M. (Andral) Frederique. The family emigrated to the United States with Andy when he was only three years old.
Ivandral (Andy) worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill for many years and in sales for Adidas. He was attending Rhode Island College and in his second year studying Psychology. He dreamed of earning a PH. D in Psychology. Andy enjoyed working out with his besties at Power House Gym and Workout World. He loved all sports but enjoyed playing volleyball and soccer. Andy received a citation certificate last year from the state of Rhode Island for the outstanding athletic achievement of winning the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division III Boys Volleyball state championship. He was a crazy fan of Chelsea Football Club (go Chelsea!). Andy was kind, respectful, affectionate, and loved by everyone.
Besides his parents, Andy is survived by her loving little sister, Emmely Naela Frederique of Woonsocket. His maternal grandmother, Germaine Andral of Providence, paternal grandmother, Marie Vilcia Jeune of Haiti, and paternal grandfather, Yvan Frederique of Lynn, MA. His maternal aunts and uncles: Emmelyne Desrosiers, Myrlande Figaro, Arlande Andral, Jean Elie Andral, Emmanuel Andral. His paternal aunts and uncles: Roodlyne Frederique, Marie Yole Magloire, Marie Gabrielle Frederique, Vladimir Frederique, Rolex Frederique, Yvantz Frederique, Markendy Frederique, several great aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10-11:00 AM.
