J.Patricia Hammond

Woonsocket - J. Patricia (Antaya) Hammond, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the Stillwater Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of Edwin C. Hammond of Woonsocket. 

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Macomber) Antaya. 

Pat worked as a Teller for Woonsocket Institute for Savings and the Teachers Credit Union, and as a Secretary for Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was an avid reader, loved her cats, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

Besides her husband Edwin, she is survived by her five children, Adam Cimino of MS, Amy Cimino and her significant other, John Carozza of CA., Dawn Simoes and her husband Fernando of Lincoln, RI., Edwin Hammond and his significant other, Audra Doody of Worcester, MA., and Kim Calitri and her husband Donald of Lincoln, RI. Four grandchildren, Brianna, Thomas, Daniel, and Lily. 

Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 9AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; Calling hours are on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 4-7 PM.
