Janette B. Robin

Woonsocket — Janette B. (Godfrin) Robin, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 25, 2025 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Robert A. Robin of Woonsocket. Robert and Janette celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on May 30, 2025.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Marcel and Cecile (Lafortune) Godfrin.

Janette worked as a CNA for the former Fogarty Hospital and also at Landmark Medical center for over 45 years prior to retirement. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Lifetime movies, traveling to New Hampshire, especially visiting the Kancamagus Highway and white mountains. She loved caring for her plants, decorating for all seasons as well as collecting Annalee Dolls and Dept.56 collectables with a winter theme.

Besides her husband Robert she was survived by her son Barry R. Robin of Woonsocket. Three sisters, Lucille Johnson of North Smithfield, Lorraine Violette of Mapleville, Claire Dussault of FL. One brother, Marcel Godfrin of ME. And her feline grandson, Christopher Robin. 

She was also the sister of the late Georgette Grandmaison. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:30 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI. Visitation is from 10-11:30 AM prior to the Service. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery 259 W Wrentham Rd., Cumberland, RI 02864.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the DAV and to the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary in her memory would be appreciated.
