Jean Trudel Obituary

Bellingham — Jean Paul Trudel 92, passed away peacefully Friday, July 16, 2021 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Lucille (Landry) Trudel of Bellingham. Jean and Lucille were married for 69 years.

Born in Bellingham, son of the late Adrien and Aldea (Dussault) Trudel.

He worked for Uni Royal and also was Superintendent for the Bellingham Water and Sewer Department for 20 years prior to retiring.

Jean loved to work, he loved dancing, and music, spending time with family and friends, and occasional trips to Florida. He and Lucille were Snowbirds.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, Mass Water Works Association, Millerville Men’s Club, Elks BPOE 650 and was in the Navy Reserves for four years.

Besides his wife Lucille he is survived by one son, Paul A. Trudel and his wife Janice of North Carolina, Three daughters, Diane Becker and her husband David of Florida, Sandra Lemme of Woonsocket, and Joyce Valentine and her husband Lloyd of Whitinsville, MA.Twelve grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

He was also the brother of the late Harold, Robert, Roger, and Bert Trudel and Florette Carey, Bella Pelletier, and Therese Denis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 12 noon in St. Theresa’s Church Rathbun St. Blackstone, MA. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
