Jesse J. Bushnell
Woonsocket — Jesse J. Bushnell 51, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, son of Harold F. Bushnell Jr of Woonsocket and Dorothy B. (Heney) Bushnell of Washington.
He was a graduate of North Smithfield High School and worked as a self-employed General Contractor.
Jesse was very adventurous and fearless. Jesse was a lifelong avid bicyclist having been picked for the Olympics at a young age and later proudly owning 2 bicycle shops in Providence, RI. He became a skilled & talented craftsman in construction and carpentry. Jesse loved to travel to several countries throughout the world. While spending time in Korea he enjoyed teaching English to the children. Jesse also loved being an uncle and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Heather Masse and her husband Martin Veras of Woonsocket. Two brothers, Angelo Bushnell of Woonsocket and Branden Bushnell of Washington. Four nieces, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, Bethany, and Ana Star. Two nephews, Landyn and Victor.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 3-5 PM.
