Woonsocket - John R. Dubois 89 passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Denise (Bileau) Dubois of Woonsocket.

Born in St. Edmond, Quebec, son of the late Henri and Alexandrina (Durand) Dubois.

John was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. He entered when he was 17 years old and served Honorably for 17 years.

He was a member of the Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge 850 and the St. Joseph Veterans Association. He was also a Veterans Advisor for the City of Woonsocket. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, and taking trips to Twin River and Mohegan Sun.

He was the brother of the late Joseph, Fernand, Lucien, Fabiola, Yvonne, and Claire. He also adored his late canine companion, Bella.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hour is from 10-11 AM prior to the Service. Burial with Military Honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery Cumberland, RI.
