John "Johnny" R. Lanoue

Woonsocket — John “Johnny” Lanoue, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025 in Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side.

Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Eugene and Jeanne (Beausoliel) Lanoue. 

John worked as a Machinist for Tech Industries for several years.

He enjoyed going to the beach, BINGO, and spending time with his family especially for family get togethers. John was especially close to his two nephews, Michael Sr. and Michael Jr.

He is survived by his four siblings, Carol Calisle and her husband Duane, of Millville, William Lanoue and his wife Leslie of New Hampshire, Steven Lanoue and his wife Jo-ann of Woonsocket, and Jo-ann Smith and her husband William of Woonsocket and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Gisele Lavoie of Woonsocket.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, February. 2, 2025 at 6:30 PM in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 5-6:30 PM prior to the service.
