Kathleen A. Kane

Woonsocket - Kathleen A. Kane, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Overlook Nursing Home. 

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Russell and Helen (O’Brien) Kane.

Kathy worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Hospice St. Antoine for several years and Friendly Nursing Home for 25 years prior to retiring. 

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, horse back riding, horror movies, music, shopping, eating out, occasional trips to the casino, the Beatles, and especially talking on the phone. She was also an avid cat lover. 

She is survived by one brother, David Kane and his wife Kim of Glendale, RI. Three sisters, Rosemary Stewart of Providence, Marlene Berube of Chepachet, and Eileen Picchioni and her husband Pete of Woonsocket. And several nieces and nephews. 

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 12 Noon in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the service. Burial to follow in St. Pauls Cemetery Gaskill St Blackstone, MA.
