Kimchi T Nguyen

Woonsocket - Kimchi T. Nguyễn 87, passed away peacefully Monday, November 14, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Be Van Nguyen.

She was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam. She was the daughter of the late Kim Van Nguyen and Nghi Lam. Kimchi and family emigrated to America in 1990 and they resided in Woonsocket, RI until she passed. She dedicated her life to be a devoted wife to her husband of 67 years, a caring mother to 7 children, a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, and a loving great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren.

Kimchi’s family was the center of her life. She loved cooking and always made sure everyone was fed. She loved to travel, take occasional trips to Twin River, and to Lincoln Woods where she and her husband spent time together. She loved her cup of coffee. She was always energetic and active. She could not rest unless the dishes were washed and the floor was swept. Kimchi will be remembered for all the love, kindness, and the happy times she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Be Nguyen she is survived by her 7 children; Hai Nguyen and his wife Lai Phan and their children, Jimmy and Julia Nguyen of Woonsocket, Son Nguyen and his wife Suong Dao and their children, Hoang Huy and Hoang Oanh of Boston, Kimthuy Nguyen and her husband Hung Dang and their children Kimgan Le and Thuytien Dang of Woonsocket, Kimchau Nguyen and her husband Chung Khuu and their children, Vivian and Vincent Khuu of CO, Lam Nguyen and his wife Ly Nguyen of Woonsocket, Van Nguyen and his wife Aiping Nguyen and their children, Kimberly and Kevin Nguyen of Woonsocket, and Phong Nguyen of Woonsocket. 5 great-grandchildren: Eden Vo, Ivan and Elva Nguyen, Ngoc Han, and Thu Phuong Nguyen.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 8:30-10:30 AM. Cremation to follow at Woodlawn-North Purchase Cemetery N. Main St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
