Lavar A. Ruff

Woonsocket — Lavar A. Ruff, 25, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at home with his loving  family by his side.

Born in Providence, son of Tarik A. Ruff and Tonia J. Rawlinson-Ruff both of Woonsocket.

Lavar was very loving and he loved to spend time with his family, eat, talking, and watching TV. He was a big fan of the Power Rangers and wrestling. 

He was a Woonsocket High School Graduate Class of 2016.

Besides his parents Tarik and Tonia he is survived by his grandmother Phyllis Ruff all of Woonsocket. Seven sisters, Dene, Donte, Taila, Tatiana, Miranda, Cherrish, and Promise. Three brothers, Dario, Aries, and Orlando. One aunt Keila O’Hagan. His godmother Sarah Richer and godfather Randy Lewis. He is also survived by several other uncles, aunts, cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Georgette and Sonny James Rawlinson and paternal grandfather Wayne Spellers.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5-7 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill RD. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be at a later date.
