Leola Gaulin Obituary

Woonsocket - Leola A. (Saucier) Gaulin, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Rosaire Gaulin.

Born in Uxbridge, MA. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Blanche (Blanchard) Saucier.

Leola worked in the painting department at Hasbro for 20 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing solitaire on the computer, family trips to the beach, and most of all she was a homebody and loved spending time with family. 

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Gaulin of Woonsocket and Ronald Gaulin and his wife Dawn of Foster, RI. One daughter, Elaine Poirier and her husband Roland of Pascoag, RI. One brother, Harry “Butch” Saucier of Hyannis, MA. Three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Adam, and Desiree and four great grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Jordan, and Zachary.

She was also the sister of the late Harriet Ladouceur, Arthur Saucier, Joseph Saucier, Lucille Lopez, Violet St. Germain, and Ethel Glanville. She was also  the grandmother of the late Eric Poirier.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10AM from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 9-10AM prior to Mass.
