Leonie Michel

Leonie (Fontil) Michel 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of Hivon Michel of Woonsocket.

Born in Cap Haitian, Haiti., daughter of the late Homer and Inelie (Préval) Fontil.

Leonie was a Homemaker. Leonie worked at MaMa Depot Store while living in Haiti. She enjoyed taking care of her husband and family, cooking, and dressing in a very lady like manor.

Besides her husband Hivon, she is survived by her two children, Marie Michel and her husband Charles Henry Jean Baptiste of Woonsocket and Pierre Paul Michel of Haiti. Three grandchildren Corhie Ann, Omael, and Kayden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Leonie was predeceased by her four siblings, Maurice, Roger, Louise, and Marie.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited; visitation is from 11-12PM one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
