Lisa Mencucci Obituary

Woonsocket — Lisa M. (Wentworth) Mencucci, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 26, 2025 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Angelo A. Mencucci Jr. of Woonsocket.

Born in Blackstone, MA., Lisa was the daughter of the late Charles E. Wentworth Sr. and Elger (Chorzempa) Wentworth. 

She was employed for the Woonsocket School Department as a Para Professional at Citizen Memorial Elementary School for several years prior to retiring.

Lisa was a member of the Gloria Gemma Foundation. She was a baseball coach and was very active for the Fair North Little League and participated in the Woonsocket Parks & Recreations coaching basketball.

She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her son Alex and her grandchildren. She enjoyed music especially Dave Matthews and hanging out with her canine companion, Charlie.

Besides her husband Angelo she is survived by her son, Alex C. Mencucci of Woonsocket. One daughter, Amanda Mencucci of Woonsocket. Two grandchildren, Nathan and Alayna. One sister, Carol Nordberg and her husband John of Bellingham, MA. Sisters in law, Diana Debroisse and her husband Michael of North Smithfield and Debra Wentworth of South Kingstown RI. And several nieces and nephews. 

She was also the sister of the late Charles E. Wentworth Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI. 02895 Relative and friends are invited. The family will receive guest after the Mass at the church. Burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
