Danielson - Lise D. Lareau, a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on March 19, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of warmth, curiosity, and quiet generosity. Raised in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Lise spent much of her life in Connecticut, where she became a cherished member of her community.
She was the loving mother of Chantal Lareau of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and Danielle Lareau of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Lise was a proud and devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren, who brought immense joy and meaning to her life.
Lise is survived by her mother, Suzanne Lareau, and was predeceased by her father, Louis Lareau. She also leaves behind her siblings, Caroline Couture, Michelle Lareau, and David Lareau, all of whom shared in a lifetime of memories with her.
A passionate supporter of the Danielson art community and its small businesses, Lise believed deeply in creativity and the importance of local connection. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her beloved cats, reading, and exploring new ideas and topics that sparked her curiosity. Her love of learning and appreciation for the world around her were hallmarks of her spirit.
Lise will be remembered for her kindness, her thoughtful nature, and the love she gave so freely to her family and those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Home Service will held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 4 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM prior to the service.
