Lorraine D. Pinette

Cumberland — Lorraine D. (Maurice) Pinette, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023 in Milford Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Ronald L. Pinette Jr. of Cumberland.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Walter and Antoinette (Manseau) Maurice.

Lorraine worked for Wrentham Mental Development Center in patient care for over 25 years prior to retiring.

She was an avid cat lover and bird watcher. She also enjoyed dancing, her flowers, bowling, and spending time with her family. 

Besides her husband Ronald, she is survived by her three children, Rodney Spoor and his wife Sandra Angell of Salem, MA., Jeffrey Spoor and his wife Michele of Indiana, and Lorrie Beaudoin and her husband Norman of Cumberland. Three sisters, Simone Fontaine and her husband Bob of South Carolina, Susan Lambert and her husband Thomas of South Carolina, and Sharon Swist and her husband Patrick of Little Compton, RI. Four grandchildren, Brianna, Jordan, Amelia and Ethan. And Maurice Rivet whom was like a son to her.

She was also the sister to the late Robert Maurice and Lillian Cortez.

Her Funeral Services are private. The S. DiParrdo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
