Louise J. Mencucci

Woonsocket - Louise J. Mencucci, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Angelo A. Mencucci Sr. 

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Joseph and Rena (Berard) Bileau. 

Louise worked as a Kitchen Aide at Ballou Home for several years. She was a former member of the St. Louis Chorale, she was an expert seamstress, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

She was the oldest girl of a family of 14. 

She is survived by her children, Angelo A. Mencucci and his wife Lisa of Woonsocket and Diana Debroisse and her husband Michael of N. Smithfield. Her siblings, Ralph Bileau of Lincoln, Doris Andreoni of Cumberland, Cecile Charron of CT, Pauline Brodeur of Woonsocket, Denise Dubois of Woonsocket, Richard Bileau of Bellingham, Joseph Bileau of Woonsocket, and Roger Bileau of Bellingham. Five grandchildren, Amanda, Cory, Kayla, Nicholas, and Alyssa. Ten great-grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, Alayna, Savannah, Lucas, Carter, Charlotte, Isabella, Joseph, and Julian.

She was also the mother of the late Michael Mencucci and sister of the late John, William, Normand, Alice, and Constance. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 11, 2025 at 11 AM in St. Joseph Church 1200 Mendon Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket RI  02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
