Obituary

Woonsocket — Lucienne J. Barbeau 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Landmark Medical Center.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Herve and Georgianna (Charron) Barbeau.

Lucy worked for Art Garment for 19 years, Fashion Sportswear for 12 years, Environmental Services at Landmark Medical Center for 20 years, and Sodexo for 2 years prior to retiring. She was a volunteer for the children's amusement rides at Autumnfest for 15 years.

Lucy is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Caregiver of 20 years, Lucille Gentile.

She was also the sister of the late Henry P. Barbeau, Lucien A. Barbeau, and Jacqueline D. Rondeau.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 12 noon in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; Visitation is from 11AM to 12 noon, one hour prior to the service.
