Lucretia A. Brooks

Woonsocket - Lucretia A. (Stepney) Brooks 66, passed away in Landmark Medical Center on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was the wife of Larry Brooks.

Born in Bluefield, WV daughter of the late James and Euzell (Wilson) Stepney.

Lucretia worked in Quality Control at Tech Industries for several years and then as a Supervisor for Housekeeping at the Fogarty unit of Landmark Medical Center prior to retiring.

She enjoyed cooking, Lifetime movies, reading, taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband Larry, she is survived by her 3 children, Natasha Brooks and Ron Godin of Woonsocket, Kenji Brooks and Anabela Sa of Woonsocket, and Larry C. Brooks and Jessica Laquerre of Woonsocket. One sister, Sandra Oliver of Woonsocket. And 7 grandchildren, Courtney, Kharyssa, April, Deja, Brayden, Evan, Davian, and Julian. Five great grandchildren, Kayliana, John, Aria, Logan, and Luna. She is also survived by her life long friends, Ann Scurry and Deborah Jackson. And her Goddaughter, Denitra Scurry Pearson. 

She was also the sister of the late, Joseph, Christopher, and James Stepney.

Her Services and burial are private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI 02895 is in charge of the arrangements.
