Lucy S. Desilets

Woonsocket — Lucy S. (Depot) Desilets 63, a resident of the Woonsocket Health & Rehabilitation Center, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Henri Desilets and forty year companion of Willie Geter of Woonsocket.

Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Conrad and Rose E. (Beauvais) Depot.

Lucy was a homemaker, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, cook outs, fishing, and Bingo.

Besides her lifelong companion Willie, she is survived by her four children, Traci Desilets, Tammy Baez, Amanda Desilets, and Brandon Geter all of Woonsocket.

Eight siblings, Rejean Depot of Attleboro, MA, Gilles Depot of Ledyard, CT., Denise Depot of Worcester, MA. Aline Lamar of Charleston, Louise Depot of Woonsocket, Mari-Anne Valentin of Manville, Carol Flaxington of Lincoln and Adrienne Lefebvre of Cumberland. Thirteen grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.

She was also the sister of the late Francine Depot and Daniel Depot and mother of the late baby Geter.

A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-7 PM. Burial will be private. COVID guidelines will be observed, social distancing, and masks required.
