M.C. Farrow Obituary

Woonsocket — M.C. Farrow 79 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of the late Minnie Farrow.

Born in Newberry South Carolina, son of the late Willie Farrow Sr. and Amanda (Thomas) Farrow.

M.C. was Owner Operator of M.C. Farrow Construction.

He was an active member of St. James Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for nearly 50 years. He loved serving the community and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his two children, James Farrow and his wife Cheryl of NJ and Dolores Karnean and her husband Matthew of N. Providence. Two brothers, Ezell Farrow and Robert Farrow both of Woonsocket. Six grandchildren, Kyle, Jace, Devin, Montell, Marissa and Shenika. And one great-granddaughter, Carlina.

He was also the father of the late Carolyn Bacote and Angiler Henley. And brother to the late Joseph, Thomas, Willie Jr., and Howard Farrow.

A Service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11 AM in St. James Baptist Church 340 S. Main St. Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will be in Union Cemetery N. Smithfield, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Monday, June 14, 2021 in St. James Baptist Church from 5-7 PM. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd Woonsocket, RI is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org in M.C.’s memory would be appreciated.
